Abstract

Planning for a multiobjective process using collaborative agents can have situations where actions proposed by the agents are in conflict. Negotiation has been very often used to resolve the conflict. Plan recognition based negotiation has the advantage of fast convergence but cannot ensure the resolution. This paper introduces fuzzy logic to plan recognition based negotiation. The use of fuzzy logic makes the concepts of objectives and constraints "elastic" and therefore resolutions can be identified.
