N2 - As the global population ages, improving the quality of life for the elderly has become a critical social concern. This study investigates the mediating role of AI-based social activities in enhancing the quality of life for elderly individuals, with particular emphasis on the roles of social support and environmental influences. A systematic review of existing literature indicates that social support and environmental factors are essential in improving the quality of life for the elderly. However, few studies have examined how AI-based social activities mediate this relationship. By collecting and analyzing data from elderly participants, this research confirms that AI-based social activities significantly mediate the enhancement of the quality of life for the elderly. These findings offer novel insights into the potential of AI technology to improve elderly well-being and provide valuable guidelines for policy-making and practical applications.
