Abstract

According to the characteristics of hyperelastic sealing material, augmented Lagrange contact method was applied to analyze the M-sealing ring used in valve. Different contact pressures in different displacement compression were provided to evaluate the sealing performance. And the processing influence of sealing pedestal was also discussed. It put forward some theoretical rules for the design and optimization of valve sealing structure. Meanwhile, it provides systematically the finite element solution of hyperelastic contact problem, including the simplification of physical model, the certification of rubber material parameters and the right election of contact algorithms.
