    Abstract

Lick-the-Toad (LTT), is an intelligent interface that integrates machine learning capabilities in browsers on mobile devices. The system was designed as a hybrid tool for various contexts, including an interactive sound web application, a sound installation, and a toolkit to allow members of the audience to generate data for live coding performances. As a tool for technology-mediated audience interaction it generates live sound synthesis and real-time data distribution via Open Sound Control (OSC) (OSC Specification) server-client communication (i.e., MaxMSP, Pure Data, and SuperCollider, mentioned hereinafter as (SC)). At the same time it allows visual interaction with other users engaging with the platform.
