Abstract

This paper examines the relationships between cultural intelligence (CQ), curiosity and entrepreneurial intentions (EI), a relatively underexplored research area. We investigate the connections between EI, curiosity and CQ, including its meta-cognitive, cognitive, motivational, and behavioral dimensions. Using data from 239 students at Romanian universities, we conducted multiple regression analysis to identify relationships and predict changes in the dependent variable while also considering demographic variables. We also employed structural equation modeling to assess and test the potential mediation of CQ in the curiosity-EI link. Our results confirm that both curiosity and CQ are predictors of EI. This research's practical significance lies in highlighting the positive association between curiosity, CQ and EI.
