Abstract

As the popularity of mobile devices increases, mobile technology is a suitable tool to use for pedagogical purposes. Some practice-based disciplines such as Urban Planning Design or Architecture have issues about how to link theories into practice (for, example, having a tour without large costs). Thus, this paper organized a survey among students to investigate advantages and disadvantages of students' frequently-used map applications. The results indicated advantages of map apps can be used as merits to assist m-learning and disadvantages can be taken as challenges for further analysis.
