Abstract

With continuous advancements in the field of robotics, household robots have become an indispensable part of daily life. To expand their functionality and improve accessibility, this paper proposed an intelligent robot for households to serve as a family organizer, companion, and supervisor. The automation characteristics of this robot allow it to independently execute functions such as providing interactive entertainment, early-stage warning systems, and storage management. The vision module in the robot system was developed in conjunction with the YOLOv8 model to enable the robot to grasp target objects through the depth camera. The effectiveness of the proposed robot has been demonstrated in both indoor and outdoor scenarios.
