Abstract

Simple, rapid, and efficient methods for P1′ diversification of phosphinic peptides have been developed, employing alkylation and Knoevenagel-type condensation reactions with active methylene phosphinic scaffolds, thus leading to a wide variety of diversified phosphinic and dehydrophosphinic peptides.
