Abstract

2023 Gwangju Design Biennale International Exhibition, Sep. 7 - Nov. 7, 2023. At Gwangju Biennale Dullegil Exhibition Hall. The visual artwork is a response to the theme of the 2023 Gwangju Design Biennale, "Meet Design." The artwork endeavours to establish a visual art space that seamlessly integrates dance, music, and a zoo in a demilitarised zone in Korea. The project aims to promote unity between people, nature, and peace. By creating a space that brings together various art forms and the natural world, I aspire to inspire individuals to connect deeply with each other and the environment around them. This artwork is a manifestation of my critical perspective on the role of art in fostering social cohesion in areas historically marked by conflict and division.
