Abstract

As research on private education policy deepens and awareness increases, more and more private schools are beginning to focus on the evolution of policy and the leadership models adopted. As a result of ongoing research, it has become a new topic to consider leadership models from the perspective of policy development. From the latest ‘double reduction’ policy, it is possible to review the logic of the development of private education policy in China. And then it will analyze the similarities and differences between the leadership models of public and private institutions. It finds that the styles of leadership and motivation are very different, but that the decision-making styles in the leadership behavior process are essentially the same. This result can also be applied in the field of education, where the leadership model in public schools differs from that in public schools, but the decision-making styles in the core components are convergent, and the motivational styles for staff differ from the previous mode. Therefore, the choice of moral leadership theory to guide the current leadership improvement of private school headmasters is an important approach.
