Abstract

This article explores the development practices of hospice care both domestically and internationally, and explores a diversified comprehensive service system that combines six modes: hospitals, communities, home care, integrated medical and elderly care, telehospice, and Traditional Chinese Medicine guided hospice care. By comparing the differences in hospice care practices in different countries and regions, and exploring the application of Traditional Chinese Medicine in hospice care in the United Kingdom, the United States, and China, this study analyzes the existing difficulties and characteristics of hospice care in China. The aim is to help patients and their families improve the quality and dignity of the "last mile" of the patients' entire life cycle, and to better promote the concept and cognition of hospice care in specific clinical services, enabling hospice care in China to develop a path that is suitable for the country's unique circumstances.
