Abstract
By Building "East Asian Cultural City," Ningbo promotes city propaganda strategy of domestic and foreign commerce, talents, film and television, which fits the "Fourteenth Five-Year Plan" of Ningbo Culture, radio, television, and tourism areas. City videos can not only improve Ningbo as a "city of literature," the popular "music city" and "Film City" can also attract more creative talents, media industry and tourists from home and abroad. This chapter studies the current situation of Ningbo city propaganda films, and figures out how to improve the city image through propaganda films. It makes suggestions on the form and content of the promotional videos, seizes the Chinese feelings and international vision, story positioning should be be combined with the humanities and history of Ningbo, with a view to produce attractive, high-flow promotional videos.
