VR技术在遗产保护和教育中的使用

Description

Despite a global attention gazed at the revived Notre Dame cathedral reopening on December 7th, few studies have explored VR use in heritage preservation and general education. This study aims to analyse case of rebuilding Notre Dame cathedral and investigate students’ experience of creating VR content featuring traditional heritage.Preliminary findings show that VR use in heritage preservation inspire both architects and tourists with understanding and using technological skills that are essential for them. Technical issues regarding spherical photo-taking or spatial imaging and the online VR creation tool were identified, which may call for new alternative tools and devices. Findings offer empirical evidence on the value of integrating VR creation into heritage preservation, as well as implications for educational applications of VR creation.
