Description

This study will investigate the development of and perform a user study on “4Cs (i.e., critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration) integrated Block Mode Learning” (4Cs-BML). It will utilize the 21st century’s most important skills, which are crucial to developing learners’ personalized learning (i.e., emotional intelligence, EI) and learning effectiveness (LE), in a Block Mode learning environment. The study will develop the 4Cs-BML strategy as an effective and engaging learning aid. Then, the effectiveness of this strategy will be measured through quantitative and qualitative analysis. First, data will be collected related to learners’ perceptions of EI and LE, and regression analysis will be performed to find whether the proposed strategy has any significant influence on the learners’ EI and LE. Subsequently, interviews with the learners will be conducted to identify the most challenging learning factors in the 4Cs-BML environment. Finally, suggestions related to future development of BML will be provided.
