    Description

Part of the home theatre festival. This happening/performance research project talks about a dystopic future set in 2056 where there is an epidemic of people choosing to stop breathing. The happening/performance is structured as an exhibition museum set in 2056 when humans are the best technology that exists. In this context, visitors receive audio guides to enter the museum and actors take turns in different rooms to replicate the daily life of Ana, a story that still reverberates 25 years later – 2056.As supporting reading for this research we used; Close to the Wild Heart (Clarice Lispector), Nação Crioula (José Eduardo Aqualusa), The Intuition of the Instant (Gaston Bachelar), The Suffering of Young Werther (Goethe), among other texts. And films by directors; Sergio Borges, Lucrécia Martel, Carlos Reygadas, Brothers Dardenne, Robert Bresson, Eduardo Coutinho and John Cassavetes.
