Ziwen Xie graduated from the XJTLU/University of Liverpool and carried out further research at the Imperial College, London, followed by 5 years of working as laboratory technician in Department of Biological Sciences in XJTLU, and start PhD journey until 2024. His current research focuses on the Mycobacteria protein function study for further potential drug target identifcation He has authored 2 publications. He has support supervised one PhD student, more than 10 master student and more than 20 undergraduated student in XJTLU as a technician or teaching assistant during PhD journey. He has served as an experimental consultant for XJTLU iGEM team for 4 years, contributing to the team's consecutive gold awards in first 3 years, and continue to offer guidance to fresh iGEM team for 2024.
