Personal profile

Yangxu Shen is a PhD student at the Department of Applied Linguistics, Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. Her ongoing doctoral research investigates the dynamics of L2 Willingness to Communicate (WTC) in classroom settings, through the lens of Complex Dynamic Systems Theory (CDST). She is interested in individual differences (IDs) in second language acquisition, research methodologies in applied linguistics, and beyond.
