As a representative of Chinese PhD students studying in the Netherlands, he was invited by Dutch Royalty attending the state banquet welcoming President XI Jinping’s visit. His research areas include ecosystems of innovation and entrepreneurship, governmental entrepreneurship, social and green entrepreneurship, social and knowledge network, and cultural impacts on innovation and entrepreneurship. Besides academic output in journals, such as Technovation, RD Management, Industry and Innovation, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, and Scientometrics, Dr.Wang has played a key role in several think-tank and advisory projects of XJTLU and works as a trainer and advisor of digital transformation and transcultural collaboration, innovation, and entrepreneurship for enterprises and governmental agencies.
