Wenhao Wang is an Instructional Designer at the Educational Development Unit in the Academy of Future Education at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU). He led the initiation and implementation of the Instructional Design Service (IDS) at XJTLU, an initiative dedicated to advancing innovative teaching and learning practices through technology. With over ten years of experience in instructional design, eLearning development, and programme management, Wenhao has worked across diverse sectors, including finance and accounting, education, the internet industry, and global energy commodities trading.
Before joining XJTLU, Wenhao served as an Instructional Designer at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS). He also held leadership roles as Deputy Programme Director and Programme Manager at several listed companies.
Wenhao holds a Master's degree in Education and Technology with distinction from University College London (UCL) and a Master's degree in Economics from the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE). His research interests include AI in Education, learning analytics, instructional design, self-regulated learning, learning engagement, and digital media.
