Experience

Born in the 90s with the emerging Internet, I've been captivated by computer networking since childhood. After completing my undergraduate studies in computer science, I moved to the United States in 2015 for graduate research and professional exploration. At that time, I learned about blockchain, a distributed ledger technology that was just starting to make waves. Over the next few years, my colleagues and I worked on some really cool research projects inspired by blockchain. For example, we teamed up with the Federal Highway Administration and deployed a decentralized real-time traffic prediction network in Delaware, greatly protecting data security and privacy. However, the world soon hit pause with the arrival of COVID-19. During months of quarantine at home, I got a chance to rethink my career aspirations. In 2022, I decided to join Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, thereby contributing to China’s internationalization of higher education.
