Dr. Viet Linh Dang is an Assistant Professor (of Practice) at the School of Intelligent Finance and Business, Entrepreneur College, Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU). He holds a Ph.D. in Logistics Management from Incheon National University, South Korea.

Dr. Dang has developed his career at the intersection of research and practice. As a researcher with the MIT Global SCALE Network, he focused on advancing logistics and supply chain management research. His industry experience includes leadership roles in South Korea’s logistics sector. He served as Logistics and Warehouse Manager at TI Logis, where he managed operations for international clients such as Entegris, Thermo Fisher, and ASM International. In addition, he worked as Korea Operations Representative at Hop Nhat International Express (HNC), collaborating with Hanjin International Express (eHANEX) to enhance cross-border e-commerce logistics operations between Korea and Vietnam.

Dr. Dang also brings substantial experience in academic collaboration, program management, and R&D strategy. He managed master’s programmes in partnership with over 30 Korean universities and developed operational frameworks to streamline national R&D initiatives. Earlier in his career, he actively contributed to developing international partnerships and student exchange programs.

Dr Dang’s research focuses on global supply chains, sustainable sourcing, AI and machine learning applications in supply chain management, warehouse operations, decision science, and port logistics. He has published widely in top-tier academic journals and is an active presenter at leading conferences and institutions worldwide.
