Dr. Vi Cao joined IBSS as an Assistant Professor in Economics in 2022. She holds a PhD from University of Rochester. Prior to joining IBSS, she was a postdoctoral research fellow at Sichuan University. Her research interests include Game Theory, Dynamic Mechanism Design, Epistemic Game Theory. Currently, she is interested in applying Game Theory to addressing the overtreatment epidemic in healthcare. She has published papers in International Journal of Game Theory and the B.E. Journal of Theoretical Economics.
