Personal profile

Dr. Suneel Kommuri is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at XJTLU. During 2016-2019, he worked as a Research Professor with the School of Electrical Engineering, Korea University, and also attached to Kyungpook National University, South Korea. His research interests include sliding mode observers/controllers, fault diagnosis and fault-tolerant control, analysis of electric machines, robotic control, and cyber-physical systems. Dr. Kommuri is a member of the IEEE Industrial Electronics and IEEE Industry Applications societies.

 

******** Scholarship for PhD Students ********

Scholarship for motivated PhD students is available in the area of fault diagnosis, control of electrical machines, sampled-data synchronization, and T-S fuzzy systems. The scholarship covers 1) full tuition fees for three years, 2) travel allowance for attending international conferences, and 3) also an opportunity to visit UoL for upto six months. Excellent students can apply for paid teaching and/or research assistant positions to cover living expenses. Note that the PhD degree is issued from UKs University of Liverpool (UoL).
