Personal profile

Dr. Liang Ma got his Ph.D. from the University of Alberta. His research interests are in areas of monetary economics and financial economics, particularly in the intersection of unconventional monetary policy (e.g., quantitative easing) and its asset pricing implications. Before joining IBSS, he served as a postdoctoral fellow at the Open Data Centre for Alberta Urban Real Estate. He also gained experience as a research associate at the China Institute, Canada's largest think-tank dedicated to the study of China.
