Dr Lanlan Liu is Assistant Professor at the School of Intelligent Finance and Business, XJTLU Entrepreneur College (Taicang). Lanlan obtained her PhD in Finance and Risk from the University of Nottingham. Prior to joining XJTLU, she worked at Soochow University. Lanlan’s research mainly focuses on Empirical Asset Pricing, Behavioral Finance, Law and Finance and ML applications in finance such as the use of NLP in investor behavior modeling. She also has various working experiences in quantitative investing and bank risk management.
** PhD applications in financial economics with a special focus on ML applications in finance are all welcome.
