Dr. Juan Tao is an Associate Professor in Finance. She obtained her PhD degree from Loughborough University in 2008 and her PhD research focused on futures market. She has published three articles in this direction in internationally reputable journals such as The European Journal of Finance, International Review of Financial Analysis, and International Journal of Finance and Economics. Before joining XJTLU in 2009, she has worked as futures market analyst in Haitong Futures Co., Ltd. In 2012, she obtained the UK Higher Education Academy fellowship. Juan has abundant experiences in teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate students and has received very good student feedback. Juan’s current research interests include Mergers, Acquisitions and other Restructurings, Corporate Finance and Corporate Social Responsibility, Financial Futures Market.
