Dr. Dixin Wu joined Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University as an Assistant Professor of Accounting in February 2024 after earning his PhD degree from the Australian National University. Before joining the XJTLU, he worked as an Associate Lecturer at ANU. Dr. Wu's research interests center around the broad intersection of accounting and finance. He is particularly interested in how information flows from different sources, such as executives, financial analysts, journalists, and other emerging outlets, interplay with each other in the early post-IPO market, and how they shape the aftermarket information environment, thereby affecting retail investors' decision making. Dixin's teaching is inspired by his research and was recognized with several university- and college-wide teaching awards during his time at ANU. Dr. Wu is a member of CPA Australia and he has passed all three levels of the CFA program exam.
