Dhanushka Kobbekaduwa is a PhD candidate in Civil Engineering at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU), specializing in concrete durability, corrosion mitigation, and advanced cementitious composites. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology and is a Graduate Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers, UK (GMICE) and an Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers Sri Lanka (AMIESL). Prior to his doctoral studies, he served as an assistant lecturer at the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT) and as a lecturer at Skills College of Technology (SCoT), teaching courses such as Structural Mechanics, Advanced Structural Design, Construction Technology, and Materials Science. His research and teaching bridge theoretical knowledge with practical applications to enhance infrastructure resilience.
