Chaofan Yu

 With rich fieldwork experience in Ethiopia and Nigeria, her research interest is in China-Africa relations, knowledge and technology transfer, and China's overseas industrial parks. Her special issue titled "Multiscalar industrial strategies and variegated foreign investment in China" has published in Journal of Balkan and Near Eastern Studies in 2023. In 2019, she published her report titled “China's Overseas Industrial Park Development: Challenges and Recommendations” in Suzhou Industrial Park Think Tank. Her papers are also accepted by a range of conference on China-Africa studies, including Jiangnan Conference, Shanghai, China; and symposium “Turkey-Africa Relations: The Paradigmatic Shift in Turkey’s Foreign Policy towards the Horn of Africa” at University of Nairobi, Kenya.
