Bin Hao obtained his Ph.D. from Tongji University. He also has experience studying and working at the University of Oxford and the Aix-Marseille University. Prior to joining XJTLU, he was as an associate professor and department head at the School of Business, East China University of Science and Technology. His research interests include entrepreneurial strategy and venture capital investment. He has published more than 50 papers in leading journals including Entrepreneruship Theory and Practice, International Small Business Journal, Technovation, R&D Management, Scientific Data, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, European Management Journal, Journal of Business and Industrial Marketing, among others. He is also author (co-author) of 2 books. His work has won several awards, including Best Paper Award at the Academy of Management (AOM) Annual conference, Best Full Paper Award at the British Academy of Management (BAM) Annual conference, and Year’s Best Paper Second Prize by Shanghai Social Science Committee. His reserach has been funded by the Natural Science Foundation of China and the Ministry of Education of China. He currently serves as Editorial Board Member of Scientific Data―a NATURE portfolio journal.
Bin is looking for PhD students who want to work on areas inlcuding entrepreneurship, venture capital investment, and strategy. Applicants with the background of management, statistics, or computer science are especially welcome.
