Dr. Avik Sinha is an Associate Professor at HeXie Management Research Center, Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. He holds a doctorate in management from Indian Institute of management Indore. Prior to joining XJTLU, he worked as an Associate Professor at Management Development Institute Gurgaon and Goa Institute of Management. He is the winner of Clarivate “India Research Excellence - Citation Awards 2023”. His research interests include Energy and Environmental Economics, Sustainable Development, and Applied Econometrics. He is now working in policy research for attaining the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with a special focus on SDG 13 and SDG 7. On the methodological front, he is presently working on advanced quantile modeling and decomposition-based inequality assessment.
