Agnishikhe Munipapa Reddy Ashok Kumar

Agnishikhe Kumar is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Health and Environmental Science, at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, under the supervision of Dr. Eben Goodale. She completed her Master’s in Ecology at the University of South Bohemia, Czech Republic. She is broadly interested in understanding species' roles in information transfer and its impact on community assembly along environmental gradients. She likes to work with avian model systems such as mobbing groups, mixed species flocks, and mixed aggregations at feeders. Her Ph.D. focuses on understanding the relationship between species diversity and information transfer using mobbing behaviour in avian communities.
