The study explores how school principals in Nepal conceptualize and implement instructional leadership to enhance educational outcomes. The study examines how school principals in Nepal understand and practice instructional leadership to achieve enhanced educational outcomes. The research problem develops from the necessity to realize principals' role in enhancing quality education in an under-resourced context. Contrary to existing research, this study attempts to fill the gap and focus on principals' instructional practices, their challenges, and the theoretical foundation guiding their approach: distributed and social learning theories.
