This presentation explores ways of using tech tools to foster intercultural competence in online EAP classrooms. It provides insights into how we, as EAP practitioners, can overcome barriers posed by teaching in an online setting and leverage tech tools to create a learning environment conducive to raising students’ awareness of cultural differences and developing their ability to communicate inter-culturally.
