Description
Including learning outcomes in teaching materials and course outlines is a widely recognized practice for aligning courses with educational standards. Given that these standards are typically established externally, instructors face the significant challenge of effectively translating them into practical teaching materials and classroom strategies. This presentation will address this challenge by delving into the application of backward design and constructivist theory in the formulation of learning outcomes. It will empower educators by showcasing a task-based approach to crafting learning outcomes, enabling instructors to align their teaching practices with their educational vision, teaching style, and the unique needs of their learners.
