Description
Understanding human driving behavior is paramount in the evolution of autonomous driving technologies. As the automotive industry strides towards fully autonomous vehicles, the integration of human behavioral insi ghts becomes crucial in enhancing the safety, efficiency, and user acceptance of these technologies. Current efforts by various companies and institutes are increasingly focused on developing sophisticated driver monitoring systems. These systems aim to bridge the gap between human-driven and autonomous vehicles by ensuring that the transition phases are managed safely and effectively. This project leverages the synergy be tween robotics and virtual reality (VR) to simulate real-world driving scenarios, thereby providing a novel approach to studying human driving behaviors.Period | 1 Jun 2024 → 31 Aug 2024 |
