Abstract

Current Mobile healthcare solutions use different wireless protocols, leading to inconvenient management for patients and clinics. A universal architecture has been proposed to allow various wireless protocols to operate seamlessly. For further application of ultra-wide band together with Bluetooth, WiFi and ZigBee, three UWB antennas are simulated and optimized. With half circle grounded, new designed UWB antenna has good performance from 2GHz to 9GHz, which has the advantage of miniaturization than conventional patch UWB antennas.
