Abstract

This paper describes a complete GaN monolithic switched-mode DC-DC buck converter design with integrated functional blocks, i.e. high-side gate driver, comparator, PWM driver and over-current protection. The converter circuit steps down the input voltage for the output. The GaN power integrated circuit was fully fabricated and the laboratory measurement data are reported.
