Abstract

This paper proposes a novel synthesis method for flat negative group delay (FNGD) responses. Additionally zero reflection or backscattering with flat negative group delay response is proposed for the first time. The proposed synthesis method is more general as one can implement FNGD response of any specifications. Realizable coupling matrix is derived from synthesized polynomials. Complete synthesis flow chart with one design example is discussed in details. The exact agreement between synthesis and simulation results validate the proposed synthesis approach.
