According to the order of enrollment, 38 students were selected to enter the group for interview. Due to the same time as the group time, 24 students can participate in the whole process and enter the group as the experimental group; 14 students could not join the group due to time conflict, as the control group. All 38 students were tested before and after using the "Interpersonal Skills Assessment Questionnaire (Chinese Version)", and the experimental group underwent a five-week group psychological guidance experiment. Results:① The total score of the intervention group was significantly higher than that of the pre-test (P<0.05), but there was no significant difference in the score of the control group. ② In terms of dimension score, the intervention group had significant improvement in self-disclosure ability (P<0.05), conflict management ability (P<0.05), emotional support ability (P<0.05), but had no significant improvement in active communication ability and moderate rejection ability. Conclusion:Semi-structured group psychological guidance is an effective means to improve the interpersonal skills of college freshmen, especially in the three aspects of self-disclosure, conflict management and emotional support.
