Personal profile

Personal profile

I am an Associate Professor and the Program Director of the Master of Industrial Design (MDes) at XJTLU. I also oversee the UN SDGs as the Sustainability Officer for Industrial Design. My work as a designer is multidisciplinary, working on projects for the industry (Worldpay, Burberry, Zadok Studio), charities and art design organisations (Barbican, Tabakalera Art Center, La Casa Encendida, Furtherfield). My research is focused on Social Design and Sustainability Design Practice. Homelessness and Forced Migration are the topics I have developed in most of my recent projects. In education, I teach product design, transition design, social innovation, design affordability, sustainable design practice and speculative design.
