I am a media industries scholar with a PhD from the University of Nottingham in the UK where I researched the issues and politics of labor in the occupation of Hollywood film sound practitioners. My other research areas are on the Chinese film industry and global cinema as well as the China’s film studios in terms of both domestic and global production. In this area I have specialized in China film law and the China-Hollywood relationship.
