Rebecca Cheung holds a Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Notre Dame, with a specialization in developmental psychology. She is a Senior Associate Professor at the Department of Educational Studies of the Academy of Future Education, Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, having previously held appointments at The Education University of Hong Kong and the University of Reading. She is also an Associate Editor for the Journal of Child and Family Studies and Mindfulness. Rebecca’s works advance the understanding of risk and protective processes of mental health across developmental periods. She is particularly interested in topics including mindfulness, emotion regulation, and conflict in the family setting. Through research and practice, Rebecca aspires to make a positive change in mental health among people from diverse contexts.
