Dr. Yacavone (Assistant Professor) has advanced degrees from Oxford University and University of Massachusetts-Amherst. He received his Ph.D. from University of Warwick in 2014. He has taught full-time at Soochow University, Shanghai International Studies University, and (currently) XJTLU. He has published articles on American writers such as Melville and Emerson as well as on movies, cinema, and popular culture, notably American Westerns and Japanese popular cinema.
