Research interests

Development Studies

Regional Science and Urban Economics

Demographic Economics

Specific topics of interest include, but are not limited to, Human Capital and Migration, Social Mobility and Child Development, as well as Economic Dynamics and Regional Disparity. In short, I'm often intrigued by why humans come up with their decisions and the ensuing consequences. Being quantitative in principle, my work is jammed with number-crunching exercises, yet I enjoy applying theories (e.g., Prospect Theory) to play with data.
