Dr. Hong-Bin Liu is an assistant professor in the school of AI and Advanced Computing (AIAC). He obtained his PhD in Information Technology from James Cook University. During his PhD study, Hongbin published several top-tier conference papers in the field of Data Mining and Artificial Intelligence, including ICDM 2019 and ECAI 2020. Immediately before joining the AIAC team, he worked as a casual academic, teaching several data science subjects. Hongbin spent more than five years working in the IT industry prior to undertaking his PhD. Currently, Hongbin’s research focus is on Artificial Intelligence, Spatio-temporal Reasoning, and Computer Vision. Please feel free to contact him for any research collaboration opportunities.
