Professor Li-Chuan Evelyn Mai obtained her PhD Degree from the School of Media, Arts and Design, University of Westminster in 2001. Currently, she serves as the Dean of the School of Film and TV Arts, the Associate Dean of the Academy of Film and Creative Technology, and PhD supervisor at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, as well as serving as a Council Member of the Expertimental Teaching Committee of the Chinese Collegial Visual Arts Association, Council Member of Suzhou City Film and TV Artist Association, the Convener of Suzhou Universities Film and TV Alliance, and the Vice President of the Hong Kong Zhuhai and Macao Bridge and Urban Development Research Association.     

Professor Evelyn Mai is an expert in media studies and cultural and Creative industry research, specialising in media management and cultural industry management. Formerly, she served as the executive chairman of international conferences, and editorial board member of international journals.  Professor Mai planned and hosted numerous large-scale events related to media and film, including the MEGA International Creative Media Festival.   

Since 1987, Professor Mai has served at Ming Chuan University in Taipei, Beijing Normal University Zhuhai Campus, Beijing Normal University-Hong Kong Baptist University United International College, and Zhuhai Innovative Cultural and Creative Industry Research Institute.  She has held positions such as Dean, Executive Deputy Dean (founding and presiding over the school), Associate Dean, and Department Head.  Professor Mai has given academic lectures and reports in many countries in Europe, America, and Canada.  She has been invited by verious governments, departments, universities and media institutions in Guangdong Province to serve as a judge and experts for media and cultural projects, as well as competitions. 

麦莉娟教授, 2001年获得英国威斯敏斯特大学媒体艺术与设计学院博士学位。现任西交利物浦大学影视艺术学院院长、影视与创意科技学院副院长,博士生导师,以及中国高校影视学会实验教学委员会理事、苏州市电影电视艺术家协会理事、苏州高校影视联盟召集人, 以及港珠澳大桥与城市发展研究会副会长。

麦莉娟教授是传媒及文化创意产业研究专家,研究领域为媒体管理、文化产业管理。曾任国际学术大会执行主席、国际学术期刊编辑委员。曾多次策划举办影视相关大型活动,包括MEGA国际创意媒体盛典。

麦莉娟教授自1987年开始,陆续任职于台北铭传大学、北京师范大学珠海校区、北京师范大学-香港浸会大学联合国际学院、珠海创新文化创意产业研究院等,担任院长、执行副院长(创院并主持工作)、副院长、系主任等职务。曾赴欧洲、美国、加拿大等国家做学术讲座及报告。多次被广东省内各级政府部门、传媒机构、高校邀请,担任传媒文化项目、竞赛等的评委、专家。
