Detong Xia received her Ph.D. from University of Cincinnati. She has taught a variety of TESOL and EAP courses in China and the United States. Before joining XJTLU, she worked at Southeast University (China). Her research interests are primarily in corpus linguistics, second language writing, and English for academic and specific purposes.
