Christopher Williams is a lawyer, professor, and consultant. He has lived in China for over a decade, working in Beijing, Shenyang, Guangzhou, Zhuhai, , and Wenzhou. As an educator, Williams has developed curricula to teach US Constitutional law and Business law to undergraduates and seasoned professionals. Williams has also developed American and British Culture classes for Chinese undergraduates. These interdisciplinary courses have integrated literature and multimedia in the classroom to provide Chinese students with a more dynamic representation of contemporary British and American cultures. Curious to learn more about China and its neighbors, Williams has traveled extensively across the Middle Kingdom and throughout Southeast Asia. His negotiation skills and consulting have taken him to Africa and the Caribbean, where he has taken part in various business and trade delegations. In addition to teaching, Williams has participated in many conferences, delivering papers in the United States, Africa, and China. A native of London, Williams emigrated to the United States from the United Kingdom. He earned a B.A. from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. Williams is a versatile scholar -a renaissance man-- who has taught at Medgar Evers College, Long Island University, and the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He is also the author of Journey to Shaolin Temple, a travel memoir about his trip to Henan.Before moving to China, Williams was an associate at The Walker Law Group, P.C. Williams worked primarily in civil practice, drafting and reviewing contracts and other commercial documents.
