Abstract
To celebrate XJTLU’s 20th anniversary, the University Marketing and Communications Office (UMC) launched the “Light Up the World” campaign on 1 January 2026. Through an interactive virtual map and landmark illuminations in Suzhou, Xi’an, Liverpool, and New York, the campaign unites the global XJTLU community in a shared moment of connection and brilliance.
As part of the Suzhou celebrations, a special lighting exhibition hosted by UMC and the Academy of Film and Creative Technology (AFCT) took place at six locations across XJTLU SIP campus. Designed around the “Syntegration+” theme, students from AFCT transformed campus landmarks into immersive art installations using projection mapping, with flowing colours, dynamic patterns, and poetic visual storytelling. Beyond the visual spectacle, the exhibition also offered interactive experiences, allowing visitors to engage with the installations.
